Since 1st of October 2021 Sri Lankan government has released the regulation for vaccinated tourist visiting Sri Lanka.

If you are fully vaccinated (at least 14 days after all recommended injections) AND you need bring negative PCR test done in your country no more 72 hours before departure, then you can leave the airport and freely travel to Dune Towers or any place according to your choice.

Traveling to Sri Lanka During COVID-19

As the world begins to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, many travelers are looking for destinations that are safe and accessible. Digitized Entry Processes

To further streamline the entry process for travelers, Sri Lanka has recently digitized several key entry processes. For example, the visa application process has been streamlined, with travelers able to apply for a visa online through the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) system.

Furthermore, the arrival card has been digitized, making the process faster and more efficient. Upon arrival, travelers are required to present their digital arrival card, which can be easily completed online before their trip.
