Sri Lanka when to go

To Sri Lanka you can go any month of a year.

The best time to visit South west of Sri Lanka (which is from Colombo to Yala) is from December to April. From May the south is getting some rain, but for example here in Kalpitiya we mostly have no rain from December to September.

On the other hand, the best season for the East of Sri Lanka is from May to September.

If you are visiting the mountains of Sri Lanka, then be careful, as the rain here is more frequent than in other parts of the island.
