How far is the Hotel from airport?
Dune Towers is 125km from Colombo (BIA) ariport. We are happy to pick you up with our jeep or you can come by bus to Puttalam which is just 30km.
Do we need a car to get around?
No. You can use our mountain bikes for shorter trips, use our tuk-tuk (three-wheeler) or our jeep Mahindra Bolero for trips to Wilpattu national park or simillar.
How can I get from the town to the Hotel?
We are 3km from the town of Norochcholai and it is very easy to find a Tuk-Tuk there, otherwise we just pick you up.
How can I enjoy the nature around?
There is plenty of options from sitting on terrace and watching birds or squirells, going for our famous 1-hour night walks, dolhpin and whale watching or scuba diving boat trips, lagoon mangrowe boat trips or full day Wilpattu jeep safari.
What sports I can do there?
Dune Towers offers beach volleyball and table tennis within the premisses. Kitesurfing is availabe on both our beach or lagoon which is better for beginners.
