Beach in front Dune Towers is very good place for fishing Kalpitiya using rod or net. The best time for rod fishing is from December till April evening time from 5:30PM during the sunset until 8PM or 9PM. The most popular fishing method with artificial baits called “poppers” and typical catch is barracuda or other predatory fish. It is the same place where you can enjoy the sand dunes in Alankuda, Sri Lanka.
